Introduction

The Department of Otolaryngology and Communication Disorders offers primary and tertiary care for disease affecting the neck and head. Our services include:

• otology
  
• paranasal sinus and nasal surgery
  
• head and neck surgery
  
• laryngeal reconstructive surgery
  
• carbon dioxide laser treatment of laryngeal papoilloma
  
• endoscopy

Our facilities include a Same Day Surgery inpatient unit, an outpatient program and a Hearing and Speech Center. The otolaryngology medical staff is aided by a nurse practitioner and audiologist/speech pathologists.

Patient treatment is conducted in close cooperation with the patient's referring physician, usually on an ambulatory basis.
