The Children's Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Center at Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children's Medical Center provides quality medical care and support
services to children and adolescents.
The medical and surgical specialty of pediatric orthopaedics
encompasses a broad range of childhood conditions, including congenital
deformity, trauma, scoliosis, bone & joint infection and cerebral
palsy. Because every child is different we evaluate each patient
on an individual basis. The Center coordinates acute and long-term
care for children and youths with injuries, disabilities and complex
medical needs.
The Children's Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Center specializes

Congenital Deformities
Extremity and spine problems such as club foot, hip dislocation,
hemivertebrae, torticollis,
polydactyly, limb deficiencies and skeletal dysplasias.
Acquired Conditions
Extremity and spine deformities related to injury, growth disturbance,
infection and tumors.
Trauma
Complex fractures, dislocations
and tendon injuries.
Neuromuscular Disorders
Cerebral palsy, spina bifida, spinal cord injury, spinal muscular
atrophy, muscular dystrophies and genetic syndromes associated
with orthpaedic problems.
