Specialized Testing

The Division works in close cooperation with a comprehensive team of pediatric specialists: Neurosurgeons, psychiatrists, psychologists, neuroradiologists, physiatrists, rehab specialists and social workers.

The Pediatric Neurology Division has a modern state-of-the-art neurodiagnostic laboratory offering the following tests:

1. Electroencephalography (including awake, sleep-deprived, in-home telemetry, overnight video monitored and intraoperative EEG recording).
   
2. Evoked potentials: (auditory, visual and somatosensory)
   
3. EMG and nerve conduction studies

Neuroradiologic services include:

• Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI),
  
• Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA),
  
• CT scanning, CT angiography, 3D reconstructive CT,
  
• Regular angiography as well as myelography,
• PET Scan, and SPECT Scan.
