Joyce Fox, M.D.
Dr. Fox obtained her M.D. degree from the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University, in 1980. She completed her pediatric training at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital, Case Western Reserve University, in 1983. She then did a fellowship in Clinical Genetics at the Yale University School of Medicine. In July 1986 she joined the staff at Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children's Medical Center and was appointed an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Stony Brook University. Subsequently she was appointed an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in July 1989. Dr. Fox was promoted to Associate Professor of Pediatrics in July 1995. In 1989 she became the Acting Chief of the Division of Human Genetics at Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children's Medical Center, and in 1995 she was appointed Chief of the Division. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Medical Genetics (Clinical Genetics).
