Nursing
Education
The Schneider
Children's Hospital Nursing Education division is a unique combination
of clinical expertise and creative energies. Educators are available
from each specialty known to pediatric nursing including; Pediatric
Intensive and Emergency Care, Neonatal Intensive Care, Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
and Bone Marrow Transplant and Acute Care Pediatrics. Our goal is to
develop a pediatric nursing workforce that strive for excellence and
seek the best evidence to care. From a simulation, case scenario based
orientation process with preceptor support to complex interdisciplinary
educational programs, the nurse educators work extensively to bring
programs to the nursing staff that integrate the most recent research
and proven clinical techniques into the pediatric work environment.
